Sasso

The asymmetry of the metal oval section structure is the principal characteristic of the base, over which cantilevers, seemingly without obeying gravity, heavy slabs of marble or lacquered wood, the edges gently rounded like stones washed by a river, from which the table takes its name. To obtain this particular curve, the Sasso table is made from marble of more than usual thickness, each piece selected specifically for that table, to accentuate the marble veining and its natural beauty in harmony with the different sizes of table. Both the glossy marble and lacquered tops are finished in polyester to guarantee the maximum protection from spills and abrasions, and are held by a chamfered support in the signature Casa Casati Orange. The different heights of the pieces allow the tables to be arranged in large dynamic groups.
