Trayano

A play on words which evokes both the function of a tray and the splendours of Imperial Rome for a piece made entirely in marble. Trayano was inspired by the need collect together and organise ornaments and small accessories, but creating something which itself had a specific decorative value. The Trayano, in three shapes and four sizes, is made from a single piece of marble carved out to create a slight rim like a tray. Designed originally to protect the lacquered finishes of Casa Casati, the Trayano is always in matt marble to create an interesting contrast
